God Recreating Our Worlds In New Glory
2010 schedule below.

We believe that God loves us right where we are, and too much to just leave us there.  God wants each daughter and son to experience the fullness of abundant life, recognizing and using gifts, and celebrating the joy of community.  The struggles and complications of daily life sometimes push on and even squeeze out our values and lead us away from God’s will.  GROWING SELF is a series of four classes designed to help individuals find their life in Jesus Christ and blossom as people.

101 Membership: The "S" in SELF represents security.  How can I be confident in my life direction and faith?  This class introduces the basics of the Christian faith, Jesse Lee’s purpose as a church, our plan for fulfilling that purpose, and how we are a part of ministry with the larger church.  Person’s who desire to unite with the Jesse Lee Memorial Church need to complete Growing Self 101

201 Maturity: Membership is just the beginning of ministry.  The "E" in SELF stands for empowered.  God is working to make us more useful and able to receive God’s blessings.  An empowered Christian is one who practices healthy spiritual habits, and is open to the Lord’s guiding.  This class focuses on the practices of Bible Study, prayer, giving, and fellowship as key components to a healthy and well balanced life.

301 Ministry: Ministry is often where a person’s passion meets the worlds need under the grace of God.  We believe that God has gifted every person for work and play that will serve the Kingdom and bring that individual joy.  Discovering your ministry is the focus of this class as we learn how we are leaders for Jesus Christ.  The "L" is Self stand for leading.

401 Mission:  Secure, Empowered, Leaders are the goal of every group.  At Jesse Lee we recognize that we desire to lead only where Jesus’ first leads us.  The "F" is SELF stands for follower and the focus of this class is on how we can use our lives to point to Jesus Christ.  The practicalities of faith sharing, and carrying our individual ministry is the goals of this class.
