Child care is provided up to age 5. We perform at Sunday services, the 11:00pm Christmas Eve service, the Living Nativity, the Ash Wednesday service, and the Maundy Thursday service. Impulse Choir Sings a lighter musical program at the 9:00 am Sunday services and at the Living Nativity. Rehearsals are Sunday mornings at 8:30 am and the contact person is Carol Spaulding. Junior Choir The junior choir is a dynamic group of 1st through 5th graders who enjoy praising God through music. The music is often in two parts which gives them an opportunity to experience harmony. The children are encouraged to share any talents they may have with instrumentation as well, be it simple rhythm instruments or strings/band instruments that they have studied. Practices are Sunday mornings at 10:30 am in Martin Hall, immediately following JAM. The children sing approximately once a month in church, generally at the 10:45 am service. Cherub Choir The Cherub Choir is for preschool (3 and 4 year olds) and Kindergarten children who would enjoy an introduction to singing with a choir. The Cherub Choir sings songs that are simple and repetitive in nature. We practive every Sunday from 10:40 to 10:55 in the foyer of Martin Hall. The Cherubs sing approximately every 4-6 weeks at the 11:00 service. Join us as we, "Make a joyful noise unto the Lord!" Contact: Jenny Seal
Handbell Choir
Plays about once a month at 11:00 am service. Rehearses Tuesday evenings at 7:30 - 8:30 pm. No experience required as instruction is provided. Contact person: Jenni Mason.
Mixed Music Ministry Team Share your musical gifts, talents and/or simply your love for God’s gift of music by becoming a part of the ever-changing Mixed Music Ministry Team at Jesse Lee. The team is currently a loosely organized group of youth and adults (singers, musicians & other people with musical thoughts and ideas) who serve together in various combinations to lead and share music at worship services and events as opportunities arise. Early Service Piano Accompanists Accompanies the 9:00 am worship service. Please join and praise God while sharing your talents with the church. A rotating schedule allows the pianists to accompany at their convenience. Contact person: Joan West.
